Evening Outlook, the Los Angeles Daily News and the Providence Journal. She holds bachelors degrees in journalism and political science from California State University. She has a Master of Arts in
Law and Diplomacy from Fletcher School, where she won both the Stewart and Gullion Prizes as outstanding first and second year student. She speaks Spanish, French and Czech.
